The IMarEST recognises that the training offered to Royal Australian Navy Engineer Officers and Sailors is amongst the best in the world, with excellent professional development assessment and quality control mechanisms in place.
Consequently, under the licence authority vested in it by the Engineering Council, and in partnership with the RAN, the IMarEST has created a special streamlined process for Marine and Weapons Electrical Engineer Officers, Marine and Electronic Technical Sailors to apply for IMarEST Professional Membership and Registration as Chartered Engineer (CEng, CMarEng), Incorporated Engineer (IEng, IMarEng), and Engineering Technician (EngTech, MarEngTech) depending on their level of experience and academic qualifications.
The IMarEST’s streamlined route to membership and registration requires only the completion of a short application form, confirmation of RAN qualifications and copies of academic certificates.
Which category of membership and registration should I apply for?
