A small party of West Midland Members and friends were presented with an overview of the Centre's educational structure and of the various courses by the manager Mr. Peter Lock. All were aimed at providing hands-on experience and encouraged an awareness of the technical principles behind each task. Mr. Lock pointed out that working relationships with other organisations helped to broaden the scope of the courses, National Grid being one.
