The Aim
In view of the impact of excessive vibration on a ship’s machinery, equipment, structure, passengers and crew; Ship Noise and Vibration will fully explore all the causes and influences on the problem – offering new prediction, detection, prevention and control solutions.
Day One will look at ship design, prime movers and other machinery, vibration prediction, HVAC noise generation and suppression, the suppression of ship generated underwater noise and hydro-elastic response prediction.
Day Two will cover cavitation issues and propeller influences, also the influence on marine life and the human health implications of noise and vibration.
