Marine Engineers Review (MER) which is published ten times a year by the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology, is dedicated to the seagoing engineer, engineering superintendent and technical manager/director.
Each issue highlights all the major elements associated with marine propulsion technology including main engines and auxiliaries, drive systems, fuel and lubricants etc. The focus is also on critical operations, advancements, machinery problems and solutions, and the latest regulations in the merchant and naval arena across a wide range of vessel types.
MER, is perhaps the most informative technical industry journal available worldwide with an audited circulation of 11,323 (ABC Jan-Dec 2010). A supplement 'Directory of Marine Diesel Engines' is published annually.
