The IMarEST Technical & International Development Department (TID) is dedicated to maintaining the Learned Society role of the IMarEST as led by the Technical Leadership Board (TLB), a committee of Council.

IMarEST Technical Activities Register

A visual representation of how the IMarEST TLB and TID are working together to address a number of issues facing the the international marine community, the IMarEST Technical Activities Register is a gateway to the numerous Technical ouputs organised across the IMarEST .

The IMarEST is committed to finding new ways of disseminating information to the wider Membership and, as such, will regularly update the register to provide an overview of the current picture and future plans.

Activities include various articles, events, consultations and training courses, all of which are addressing the major issues currently facing the marine industry today.

The IMarEST represents Members internationally at a range of marine bodies including the International Maritime Organisation (IMO).

IMarEST Membership also provides a unique opportunity to exchange ideas and practices though the work of the Technical Leadership Board (TLB) and a number of independent Special Interest Groups which focus on issues prevalent to specific communities of marine professionals.
