This year the 105th President Dr Wyn Williams CB, the first scientist to take on the role, has produced an event with a novel twist that involves the three organisations for whom he has worked in a long and distinguished career. After briefly outlining his career the President will hand over to speakers from his three interlinked career ‘homes’: QinetiQ (or its forbears), the Navy and the UK Hydrographic Office. Each of the eminent speakers will then give the audience a taste of where their organisations are going in the future.

Following the President’s Forum, a buffet reception with wine will be held in the Ocean Suite for all those present. Attendance at the President’s Forum and buffet reception is free of charge and is open to both members and non-members of IMarEST.
