Building on the success of Engine as a Weapon 2004, held in Bristol, UK, this symposium aims to further identify and explore the challenges for integration of future high energy combat equipment into maritime platforms. With Integrated Full Electric Propulsion (IFEP) providing a key enabler for future electric weapon and sensor systems there is an increasing need to raise awareness and understanding in both the weapon and marine systems communities of their interdependencies and impacts.
