Application Check List

Please ensure you have:

  • Completed and signed the Application for Election or Transfer form
  • Included details of your referee
  • Submitted your written report
  • (If seeking registered status) Included authenticated photocopies of your qualification certificates, (i.e. signed by your referee as true copies of the originals)
  • Enclosed the appropriate fee (annual subscription fee plus your entrance or transfer fee, your registration fee (if required), plus charges for any additional journals or services you may have chosen).

What happens next?

When you have submitted your application form and written report to the IMarEST's membership department in London, they will check your application. They will inform you if any further information or evidence is required. The membership department staff are there to help you and any guidance or advice they may give will be for your benefit. When your application is ready, they will make the necessary arrangements for your Professional Review Interview (if one is required). The Interview Assessors will make their recommendation to the Membership Committee and you will be notified of the outcome in writing following the next Membership Committee meeting. These are held every other month.
