Registration via the technical report option

The Technical Report option is available to candidates requiring registration as Chartered Engineer (CEng), Chartered Marine Scientist (CMarSci), Chartered Marine Technologist (CMarTech) or Incorporated Engineer (IEng) but who do not hold the appropriate academic qualification for such registration. Such individuals may, if their competence and commitment is approved, seek to satisfy the academic requirements to use the above titles and designatory letters by submitting a paper on an approved subject of an appropriate standard. Candidates will be required to attend an in-depth technical interview based on the paper.
