R&M BOOKS IN PLENTY FROM IMarEST

The Running and Maintenance of Marine Machinery has been the best seller of its subject for many years,” explains IMarEST’s Group Managing Editor, John Butchers. Edited by Dr J. Cowley and first published in 1992, the 456 page book covers marine boilers, marine steam turbines, marine diesel engines, fuel oil quality and treatment, electrical machines, marine electrical power systems, automation and control, marine refrigeration plant, steering gears, pumping systems, minimising the fire hazard, and propellers and shafting. It costs £48 (member rate: £38.40) and can be ordered from the stand or online at www.imarest.org

Two other titles, and Operation & Maintenance of Machinery in Motorships (MEP Vol 2 Part 18) by Nick Chell. Price £25.99 (Members £20.79) will also be on the stand and can also be ordered online.
