DEPUTY GENERAL MANAGER
The Company, which was established 27 years ago, is now seeking a dynamic individual with a strong technical background.
Core responsibilities
- To assist the Managing Director in planning, organizing and managing all activities of the company.
- To ensure the highest standards of ship repair, ship building and marine engineering whilst maintaining a highly competitive cost structure.
- To develop future business strategies and opportunities both within the UAE and outside.
Requirements
- At least two years sailing as Chief Engineer.
- Shore based management experience for at least three years as Superintendent or Senior Ship Repair Manager.
- Extensive dry-docking or new construction experience would be a distinct advantage.
- Prepared to undertake regular worldwide travel.
Salary will be commensurate with expertise and experience. There is no individual taxation within the UAE, excellent expatriate package offered together with bonus scheme.
