Guild of Benevolence
  
The Guild of Benevolence is a separate registered charity closely associated with IMarEST. It provides assistance to Marine Engineer Officers and members of the IMarEST and their dependents, who have fallen on hard times. An important part of the Guild's income derives from donations from IMarEST members. A voluntary donation of £8 or equivalent has been itemised in the payment details on your form, unless you are a Life Member of the Guild.

Those who pay at least £15 in the current year become voting members of the Guild for the year.
