Completed Marine Engineer Cadetship with BP hipping 19801984. Gained BSc Engineering Science from Strathclyde University
1986. Joined Shell in 1987 as fifth engineer rising through the
ranks to Chief Engineer in 1998. Gained Class 1 Combined
Certificate in 1992. Worked ashore as Engineer Superintendent,
promoted to Deputy Fleet Manager of the Shell Oil Fleet in 2005.
Electoral Statement: I wish to represent the views and desires of the
seagoing marine engineer within The Institute.
