Occupation: Engineer Employed by Lloyd’s Register since 1996 initially trained as a marine surveyor. Experience has included ships-in-service as well
as new construction projects, particularly liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Carriers. Work has been undertaken in offices both in the UK and abroad,namely South Korea,The Netherlands and Spain.
Currently based in London as a Maritime Security Specialist which includes the undertaking of a Certificate Course in Security Management. In addition to this, an MSc in Marine Technology (Offshore Engineering) based at Heriot Watt University in Edinburgh is being read on a part time basis. Also serve as a Captain in the Royal Electrical & Mechanical Engineer (REME) Corps of the Reserve Forces (Army) where current appointment is as the Adjutant of 104 Bn REME(V) based in Borden, Hampshire.

Electoral Statement: I believe that the future of The Institute lies in the involvement and ideas of the young generation. By standing for Council, I wish to represent this generation and give a voice to their ideas in an effort to shape and develop The Institute for the engineers,
scientists and technologists of the future.
