The W W Marriner Scholarships were awarded to Aminur Rashid (Australian Maritime College) and Aaron Miragliotta (Curtin University of Technology).

The W W Marriner Award for the best Year 2 student in Bachelor of Technology (Marine Engineering) at the Australian Maritime College was awarded to Thuy Sy Phan.

45 Year Membership Certificates were awarded to Arthur Alwyn Rouse, Milton Clifford Taylor and Kenneth Bert Smith.

Laurie Prandolini was received the award of Honorary Vice President in recognition of his long standing service to the Institute.
