During Oceanology International 2008 the IMarEST organised a professional development workshop for students, graduates and postgraduates to discover how the Young Members’ Network with IMarEST Membership, and/or Chartered Registration can facilitate in achieving career goals whatever stage you have reached.
The workshop highlighted the value of developing professional skills, keeping up and advancing knowledge, understanding and competence throughout your working life. This was a great opportunity to hear from recently Chartered Marine Scientists and Engineers who talked about their experiences, explained the importance of and how to apply for Registration and also gave vital preparation tips. This workshop offered professional support and guidance, as well as a great networking opportunity... organised by IMarEST young members.
