The IMarEST holds an annual poster competition for pupils of UK primary schools. Pupils are asked to put their artistic and creative talents to the test and create a poster that reflects a topical issue or engages children in marine engineering, science and technology. The competition is held in conjunction with the European International Submarine Races (eISR).
2018 MISSION: How can we make our oceans cleaner?
The oceans are in trouble – plastic waste is piling up and killing marine life. Create an A4 sized poster showing how we could help make our oceans cleaner. Put the pupil and school name on the back of the poster – as they will be displayed publicly, do not put names on the front.
