EAAW IX - Harnessing the Technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution to Shape the Future Battlespace
Continuing Professional Development
EAAW IX explores the opportunities and challenges of manufacturing, integrating and supporting complex systems and equipment at the forefront of naval technology. Taking place online, the conference will look across the naval enterprise to understand how the technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution are being harnessed to shape the future battlespace. It will build on the success of previous symposiums by exploring the merging of combat and platform systems into one system of systems.
The symposium – being held alongside the 2021 Marine Electrical Control Systems Safety (MECSS) conference – will also identify collaboration with the wider maritime industry. Experts from across globe will present papers and host panel discussions on the impact of the fourth industrial revolution, digitalisation and disruptive technology against a background of a changing and increasingly challenging operating environment.
