Following the recent success of our Design Challenge we are proud to present the presentations delivered by the teams!
Congratulations to all teams for the excellent quality of the submissions and especially to the winners “Team Wessex”.
The Challenge: In a team, design a life boat capable of rescuing up to 1,000 people from the sea at once. Completion of the design challenge contributes to Initial Professional Development (IPD). Each team must comprise 2-6 members. The challenge was open to university students and engineers/scientists who have not yet achieved Chartered status.
If you have any further questions about the design challenge or any of the teams, please contact the Western Joint Branch Secretary.
