The Harris Pye Group, which was established more than 30 years ago, has built an enviable reputation as one of the world’s leading specialists in repair of marine and industrial boilers, including all associated steam systems.
“Operating throughout the globe, our emphasis is on cost effective repair, preventative maintenance and conversion work,” explains Mark Prendergast, Managing Director, Harris Pye Group. “We pride ourselves for being known as the 24-hour company. From a staff strength of only 10 in 1976, we have now employ 500+ in our United Kingdom head office, main stations in Dubai and Singapore, offices and repair facilities in Scandinavia, Portugal, Brazil, Bahrain, Indonesia, Malaysia and Japan.”
In recent years Harris Pye has undergone substantial growth into activities that are complementary to their core business. This has been achieved by a combination of internal expansions and acquisition of existing reputable companies. Their expertise now extends into automation, control engineering and ship repair, manufacture of food grade stainless steel galley equipment and outfitting of ships, particularly in the cruise sector.
Having established themselves as leaders in their particular field of expertise, the Harris Pye Group has, over the last 10 years, further developed its service to the offshore oil industry with specific reference to both in situ repair, upgrade and conversion of rigs, semisubmersibles, trading tankers, FSU, FSO, and FPSO and FSRU units. A substantial number of conversions have been completed to the highest possible standards.
“Our philosophy is to provide a global service which meets the needs of our clients with a focus on supplying only top quality products and efficient customer service.”
