With the rapidly mounting global challenge of the COVID-19 coronavirus, I am writing to assure you that the Institute holds the health and wellbeing of its staff and members as its highest priority - public safety is one of our primary charitable purposes.
As such, we are ensuring our teams are equipped and supported to work productively and maintain services without being exposed to unnecessary health risks.
Due to the recently updated government guidelines, we are asking all staff to work from home at this time. Staff will continue to be contactable by phone and email as usual. It is not certain exactly when staff will be able to return to the office, but we will continually evaluate the situation as it develops and will inform you of any changes.
Volunteers are asked to note that we have advised our teams to avoid face-to-face meetings until further notice, moving to virtual meetings where possible.
If you need assistance or would like to make a payment, you can call us as normal. But please be patient with us under these unique circumstances. If lines are exceptionally busy, you can also email for a faster response.
As a member, there are various remote technologies available to you. You can connect and network with fellow members via IMarEST Nexus and participate in Special Interest Group discussions. There are over 300 recordings available on demand in IMarEST TV for you to watch, and in IMarEST Echo, the Institute’s professional development platform, there are over 100 short e-learning modules on a wide range of topics to help you develop your skills.
