Hybrid Navy Business Development Manager, BMT
Becky is the Business Development Manager for Hybrid Navy at BMT, where she is responsible for customer engagement, strategic growth and opportunity development across emerging Hybrid Navy maritime programmes. She combines business development expertise with more than a decade of experience in marine engineering and naval platform design.
Before moving into business development, Becky built her career within BMT's engineering teams, progressing to Principal Marine Engineer and Fire Protection Service Capability Lead. She most recently served as Delegated Design Authority for Fire Protection on the Fleet Solid Support programme and has contributed to a number of major UK naval acquisition programmes.
A Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science & Technology (IMarEST), Becky holds a First Class MEng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Manchester. She serves on the IMarEST Board of Trustees and Council and chairs the Membership Committee, helping to support professional registration and the development of the maritime profession.
She is passionate about supporting the future of maritime capability and helping shape the Royal Navy's transition to a Hybrid Navy

Graduate Marine Engineer, BMT
Tamsyn Hills is a Graduate Marine Engineer at BMT, where she has spent the past year supporting the Mechanical Engineering Capability, with a particular focus on fire protection systems. She holds a First Class Masters in Medical Engineering from the University of Cardiff, bringing a multidisciplinary perspective to her work, and is actively working towards her Engineering Chartership with the IMechE.
