Carlos Paz is a Global Digital Delivery Manager at SLB, based in Houston, and a recognized leader in advancing digital operations across global offshore and energy systems. With more than 20 years of experience, he specializes in the industrialization of digital delivery—enabling operators to scale advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, edge computing, and digital twins into consistent, high-impact outcomes across maritime and offshore environments.
Carlos began his career as a Field Engineer in 2005, working in complex offshore settings across West Africa, the Caspian Sea, and the North Sea. These early assignments provided deep exposure to subsea, production, and offshore asset operations, shaping his strong operational foundation and practical approach to digital transformation in safety-critical environments.
In his current role, Carlos leads the global deployment and standardization of digital solutions across offshore and production systems, including FPSOs and remote operations. His work focuses on integrating real-time data, advanced analytics, and digital workflows into end-to-end operational ecosystems spanning production, maintenance, and logistics.
