Overview

Our portfolio of books contributes to the IMarEST's strategic aims of providing technical leadership to support growth through innovation and relevance.

The Books Committee ensures the continued quality of our books by coordinating book reviewers, authors and the IMarEST's publishing partner and works to maintain and improve the scope, policy and review process.

What you'll be doing

  • Find and attract reviewers to determine policy and process to execute the review process of books
  • Establish the strategy and development plan for the IMarEST book range, covering editorial direction, scope, focus and content and including annual objectives
  • Provide subsequent advice for editorial decisions on whether to reject, provide recommendations to authors or progress publication
  • Adhere to the IMarEST aims for quality, scope and Code of Publishing Ethics by actively engaging with the reviewers
  • Collaborate with the IMarEST, the Publications Supervisory Committee (PSB), and Witherbys to maintain the IMarEST books’ reputation, academic success, and prosperity via regular meetings
