About the event:
With the theme Innovation, autonomy & technologies for the ocean & marine science economies, Ocean Connect Asia (OCA) focuses on demand from leading industries and service providers for innovative marine and uncrewed solutions to address the many challenges facing owners, operators, government and research institutions.
Ocean Connect Asia (OCA) is the region’s dedicated platform for advancing marine, hydrographic, and uncrewed technologies across Southeast Asia’s vast and strategically vital waters and beyond.
OCA builds on five years of development alongside Geo Connect Asia, the region’s flagship event for geospatial, remote sensing, and location intelligence. First introduced as Marine & Hydro Asia, the event attracted 16% of Geo Connect Asia’s 2025 2,930 attendees, highlighting strong engagement from blue economy leaders, marine scientists, hydrographic experts and uncrewed systems innovators.
Set against the backdrop of ASEAN’s emergence as the world’s fourth-largest economy, with a population of over 660 million and a GDP nearing US$3 trillion, OCA serves as a timely response to both opportunities and challenges in the region’s interconnected coastal, island, and ocean territories. While these waters are central to trade, energy, and societal development, they also face increasing pressure from climate change and shifting geopolitical dynamics.
Singapore is the ideal meeting place for Ocean Connect Asia and its sister events.
