Location: South Winchester Golf Club, Romsey Road, Winchester SO22 5QX

This is the home club of our regular attendee and current holder of the Ruston Vets Trophy, Martin Palmer-Felgate, so we are assured of a fine welcome.

South Winchester was designed by renowned Course Designer and Ex-Ryder Cup Captain Dave Thomas. It is truly a Year-Round Golf Course, built on chalk with sand-based Greens and Tees. Set in over 200 Acres, this 18 Hole “Links Style” Course with 7 Lakes is set out in 2 Loops of 9 holes that both return to the Clubhouse and when you finish your round, there is a lovely terrace overlooking the 18th Green to enjoy your well-deserved beverage!

Full details of the days’ timetable will be sent out in March when bookings will open, though I can advise now that the first tee time is 11.30.  Such a later time has been requested by Society Members as a result of traffic conditions when making their way to previous meetings.
