When theory meets reality, challenges in maintaining and managing the integrity of structures, floating systems and pressure systems in remote marine environments. The talk will be a discussion and flavour of how inspection and integrity teams navigate through the reality of the marine and offshore work environment, using experience, knowledge and innovation to maintain integrity, keep the plant safe and, if needs be, “tie a knot in it” until a more robust solution presents itself.
