Offshore Renewables

  • Overview

Joining the Offshore Renewables Special Interest Group (ORSIG) offers the opportunity to take part in discussions relating to the industry’s projects, processes, and management.

Offshore renewables incorporate the development and construction of any wave, tidal or wind infrastructure within the marine environment with the aim to deliver renewable energy to meet global requirements.

The group is focused on key areas including research and development, support vessels, health and safety and training. The aim is to promote and enable IMarEST member participation in national and international initiatives in the sector, conduct academic outreach and support early career path development.

If you are interested in joining the group, sign into the MyIMarEST member portal and select the group from the list.
