Atlantic & Peninsula Australia Renews Marine Partnership with IMarEST

The Institute of Marine Engineering, Science & Technology (IMarEST) and Atlantic and Peninsula Australia (A&P) have renewed their Marine Partnership as part of their continued efforts to support marine professionals in their career development.

Atlantic & Peninsula Australia (A&P) specialises in marine platform through-life and in service support as well as planning, managing and supervising ship repair and engineering activities and the facilitation of ship’s company training. The programme sees a number of A&P staff enrolled as members of the IMarEST where they can work towards professional registration (up to Chartered Status) demonstrating their occupational competence within the industry.

“A&P has demonstrated a strong commitment in supporting their employees with their professional development. We are delighted to be able to offer them support in doing this through IMarEST membership and professional registration.” David Kelly, Director of Asia Pacific, IMarEST.

IMarEST’s partners are able to work closely with the Institute to promote professional registration and membership, continuing professional development, knowledge sharing and learning opportunities within their organisations and the wider marine community. Partners are also offered global industry networking opportunities and discounts on international events and training amongst other benefits.

“We are passionate about developing our people and demonstrating to the defence industry that A&P Australia are committed to employing the very best personnel.” Scott Willey, Managing Director, Atlantic & Peninsula Australia.
