Singapore Joint Branch Annual Dinner 2025

On 7 November 2025, The Joint Branch of RINA & IMarEST (Singapore) hosted its highly anticipated Annual Dinner, an unforgettable night filled with celebration, connection and recognition. We were deeply honoured to have Colonel Eddie Maskell-Pedersen CEng FIET, Head of British Defence Staff (Southeast Asia) and Defence Advisor to Singapore, as our Guest of Honour. We were also delighted to welcome esteemed colleagues, industry partners and student members from NTU Maritime Business Society and Singapore Institute of Technology at our event. A special thank you goes to our Master of Ceremonies, Christina Whitehead, for ensuring the evening ran smoothly.

As is customary at our Annual Dinners, a standout highlight of the evening was the presentation of the Lifetime Achievement Award. This year’s prestigious award went to Rasim Asgarov, in recognition of his outstanding and invaluable contributions to our industry. Congratulations Rasim!
