As we relaunch the Aberdeen Maritime Joint Branch, we're excited to invite you to an evening of thought-provoking talks and meaningful networking at the recently renovated Aberdeen Art Gallery. This special event will feature three speakers, each bringing unique perspectives and insights on marine topics.

Why Sail in Tall Ships?
Ocean Youth Trust Scotland, the nation’s leading sail training charity, uses the power of the sea to inspire young people, build confidence, and develop life skills through hands-on sailing experiences. The presentation will reflect on the charity’s recent involvement in the Tall Ships Races, showcasing the value and impact of these international events on youth development.

Peterhead Port, with over 400 years of history and decades of experience in the energy sector, has evolved into a key hub supporting both traditional oil and gas operations and the transition to new energy sources. The Port is poised to play a central role in major initiatives like ScotWind, INTOG, and the Acorn Project, with a strategic master plan aimed at securing long-term opportunities for future generations.
