The talk covers gaseous and liquid hydrogen systems for marine applications, focusing on key properties of hydrogen, its challenges and design solutions. The challenges associated with handling and storing hydrogen will be addressed, including materials, safety concerns, mitigating measures and engineering requirements.
The lecture will follow the Southern Joint Branch AGM which will start at 18:00 and usually lasts around 15 - 20 minutes. At the AGM we will be voting on amendments to the branch constitution as well as electing new Council Members.
