Andrew Foster

Project Director, ESB

Andrew is a Project Director with ESB’s Asset Development Team. Andrew’s background is in mechanical engineering. He began his career in maintenance management and has gained extensive experience in the energy industry through drilling engineering and well construction in large-scale international energy projects over many years. He moved to renewables through a geotechnical consultancy role focused on marine advisory and project management for early-stage offshore wind development projects in Ireland before joining ESB in 2023. He holds an MSc in Well Engineering & Design and more recently an MBA in Energy & Sustainability. Andrew is a Chartered (CMarENG CEng) Fellow of the IMarEST.
