City College’s flagship Centre of Higher Technical Innovation and Maritime Skills (TIMS) officially opened in November 2021. Purpose-built within the Marine Enterprise Zone at Plymouth’s Oceansgate in Devonport, the new teaching facility aims to support the maritime, engineering, manufacturing, construction and digital technology industries.

Equipped with some of the latest cutting-edge machinery, the site is suited to provide a catalogue of new and innovative higher-level courses and qualifications. Provision is also made for students who can’t always attend lectures in person because of deployment at sea or elsewhere.

This tour will showcase the facilities that are available within the College.
