Leanne Page is one of the UK's most valued representatives at the IMO. Leanne has kindly agreed to give the IMarEST Dublin Branch a detailed oversight in the inner working of the IMO specifically regarding Ballast Water Management. Where she has chaired the Ballast Water Group in the IMO for several years, managing the challenging task of combining the many opinions and proposals of Member States to form a consensus which has become the Ballast Water Management Convention. Members and guests are very welcome to join us here in Dublin, aboard the Cill Airne on Thursday, February 19th for what promises to be a rare and fascinating insight into the IMO and the Ballast Water Convention.
