Hosted by the Scottish Branch, this Milestone event will bring together over 250 marine industry professionals, showcasing the institute’s dedication to advancing marine engineering, science and technology.

The Chair this year is Cdr Rob Prideaux RN, Asst Hd Safety Assurance HMNB Clyde, a proud submariner, this year's dinner promises to be a highlight on the industry calendar and aims to continue the reinvigoration of engagement with IMarEST Scottish Branch, building on the success of the inaugural decarbonisation symposium in Glasgow.

Principal Speaker: Rear Admiral Martyn Boyes (Director Submarine Support), who is accountable to CEO Submarine Delivery Agency, and leads a wide range of project and support teams focused on delivering safe, capable and available submarines to the Royal Navy. He will highlight the many challenges faced to enable this as well as the opportunities provided by these challenges.

After Dinner Speaker: Tam Cowan is one of Scotland's most beloved after dinner speakers, renowned for his quick wit and infectious humour. He is a well-known figure in the Scottish media landscape, having appeared on a range of TV and Radio shows on BBC Scotland. Tam's engaging and entertaining style along with his natural ability to connect with audiences and put them at ease, has made him a firm favourite at events. In addition to his work as an after-dinner speaker, Tam is also known for his numerous media appearances. He TV work includes: The Football Show and Off the Ball as well as being a regular guest on several other programmes.

The dinner will be supported by the HMS Neptune Volunteer band who will play a melody of Music throughout the Evening
