Once a dormant industrial site, the New Bedford Foss Marine Terminal has been re-engineered into a critical gateway for U.S. offshore wind. CSO Engineering demolished the site, delivered new marine structures, dredged access, upgraded utilities, and established fully operational berthing for offshore vessels. The project demonstrates how naval architecture and marine engineering can repurpose legacy waterfronts for renewable energy. This presentation highlights the solutions, lessons learned, and the unique challenges of transforming a complex brownfield site into a modern maritime facility
