About the event:
The presentation will introduce wave energy, the technologies involved, and the role WES has played in its development in Scotland over the last 10 years. It will also touch upon tidal energy and at where these (collectively termed marine energy) can best be located and how they can integrate with other users of marine space. The potential economic benefits of marine energy will also be outlined, along with a brief view of what the future might hold.
