Eligibility
To become an Associate Member, you will usually have worked or studied in the marine sector for at least three years and have shown a commitment to continued professional development.
You will be eligible if you are a graduate, a technician, have completed a cadetship or apprenticeship or have an occupational role in the marine sector.
Progressing to full membership
As soon as you graduate or complete your training, you are eligible to become an Early Career Associate (AMIMarEST). As an Early Career Associate (ECA), post-graduates and those who have completed their apprenticeship or cadetship pay a reduced fee while benefitting from Associate Membership for five years.
