We recognise that the training offered by the Royal Navy is amongst the best in the world, with excellent professional development, assessment and quality control mechanisms in place.

Our defined route to membership and registration requires the completion of a short application form, confirmation of RN qualifications and copies of academic certificates - to be returned to our Membership Team. All applicants must then undergo a Professional Review Interview (PRI).

This defined route is a standard route. Experienced people with early career training may well be eligible for membership and registration sooner, but they will need to go through the usual IMarEST professional review process.
