Speaker: Assoc. Prof. Inga Bartuseviciene, World Maritime University

Seafarers work in one of the world's most isolated and demanding environments where fatigue, loneliness, anxiety and limited access to support can affect wellbeing and operational safety. Drawing on a survey of seafarers, employers and mental health service providers, this lecture examines why available services often fail to reach those who need them. It identifies gaps among demand, potential supply, and company implementation, and offers practical recommendations.
