Offshore Oil and Gas

  • Overview

Joining the Offshore Oil and Gas Special Interest Group (OOGSIG) offers the opportunity to take part in discussions relating to the industry’s projects, processes, and management.

Offshore oil and gas incorporate the development and construction of any offshore infrastructure relating to oil and gas within the marine environment with the aim to deliver energy to meet global requirements.

The group is focused on key areas including carbon emission reduction, operational efficiency and safety, and integration with offshore facilities such as floating wind. The aim is to promote the oil and gas sector to IMarEST members and raise the profile of the institute in key oil and gas geographic regions globally.

If you are interested in joining the group, sign into the MyIMarEST member portal and select the group from the list.
