  • Overview

As the largest Branch of the IMarEST, the Scottish Branch encompasses members from all areas of marine activity including naval and merchant shipbuilding, offshore oil, marine biology, environmental issues and many more fields of the marine industry. With such a variety of accomplished marine professionals, there is a constant stream of activity that satisfies members’ interests, whether that may be in engineering, science or technology.  

The Branch is also extremely passionate about supporting the next generation of marine professionals. Through their Young Members Network and by sponsoring competitions at Universities, Colleges and Schools, the Branch aims to educate young people about the plethora of opportunities available in the marine industry.  

Join this local community to enhance your knowledge through technical lectures and promote marine activity in the region.
