Each accreditation of a programme demonstrates fulfilment of the academic requirements, either partially or fully, towards the requirements for the stated registration level.

IMarEST is uniquely positioned to offer dual-accreditation against its own marine registers, demonstrating specific competence within a marine discipline.

For example, a programme that fully meets the academic requirements for Registered Scientist (RSci), also fully meets the requirements of Registered Marine Scientist (RMarSci), similarly for Chartered Scientist (CSci) and Chartered Marine Scientist (CMarSci).
