Manager, Welding Engineering

This role involves overseeing all welding engineering activities in support of vessel construction activities at the shipyard. The Manager will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders, including welding/steel trade managers, stage of construction managers, regulatory bodies, statutory agencies, and customers.

Marine Systems Engineer

The Marine Systems Engineer is responsible for engineering activities relating to the design, procurement, and integration. Outfit equipment may include, but is not limited to, mission equipment, lifting appliances, winches, anchoring & mooring equipment, boat davits, aviation support systems, watertight doors & hatches, accommodation systems, joinery and fixtures for accommodations and workshops. Collaborating with the Engineering Manager, this role participates in all dry docking and refit projects at Victoria Shipyards; it carries out work thoroughly, safely, and efficiently across the navy and commercial programs.
