In addition to more than twenty years’ experience in online businesses, technology and venture capital, he has also worked in the energy, consulting and finance sectors with a range of leading organisations, including Schlumberger, McKinsey, Enron and Westpac.

Sam Bromwich is the Operations Superintendent overseeing Svitzer’s Chevron towage services across the Northwest region. With over 15 years of experience in maritime operations both at sea and ashore, Sam brings a wealth of knowledge in harbour, terminal, and offshore towage.He began his career with Svitzer as a deck rating, steadily progressing through the ranks to Chief Mate before transitioning into shore-based management. In his current role, Sam leads operational delivery and performance with a focus on safety, reliability, and efficiency. He is widely recognized for his strategic mindset, strong leadership, and deep operational expertise—qualities that continue to drive success across Svitzer’s Northwest portfolio.
