Behind every voyage lies a network of human decisions, responsibilities, and impacts.

From the ethical dimensions of ship construction to seafarer welfare, maritime safety, and the ethical use of emerging technologies, the industry is navigating a complex moral terrain.

This one-day event, held by the Southern Joint Branch, will bring together stakeholders from across the maritime sector to examine the ethical challenges shaping modern shipping.

Bringing perspectives from regulation, engineering, academia, and industry, the programme will foster open discussion around sustainability, responsible innovation, and ethical leadership at sea.
