These registrations are internationally recognised awards, identifying the holder as able to meet a robust framework of comeptencies.
Chartered Engineer (CEng)
The highest level of professional registration, Chartered Engineers develop appropriate solutions to complex engineering problems and develop and apply new technologies.
Incorporated Engineer (IEng)
Incorporated Engineers maintain and manage applications of current and developing technology.
Engineering Technician (EngTech)
Engineering Technicians solve practical engineering problems and have supervisory or technical responsibility, applying safe systems of working.
Marine-specific registrations for engineers
We are the only institution in the world to provide an associated marine registration matched to each of the standard Engineering Council registers listed above. These registrations are:
